    My Approach

    Please contact me if you have any specific requirements for your dog. Your dogs care and well-being is my key priority, followed closely by your peace of mind.

     

    At Devoted 2 Dogs I offer a free consultation service in your home so I can meet you and your dog, and so that he/she can meet me. It also allows us to discuss in detail what your dog’s exact requirements are, and what you are looking for.

     

    I provide a FREE initial face-to-face consultation for the following important reasons:

     

    • I need to understand your dog’s needs and behaviours in order to provide you with the best service
    • It is important for you, and your dog to get to know me as you will be entrusting me with a member of your family
    • Having previously struggled to find somebody to look after my lurcher, Lyla, I completely understand how difficult this decision is, and I want you to be totally confident that I am the right person for both you and your dog

     

    At the FREE initial face to face consultation we will be discussing, and I will be noting:

     

    • Your dog’s special needs and requirements
    • Details on habits, diet, known training commands, exercise regime, health and medical history
    • Veterinarian contact details and the vaccination records
    • All emergency contact details and my Terms and Conditions

     

    Important Notes:

     

    • Please note that I do not take bitches in season and require all dogs over 6 months to be neutered. However, if there is a reason why he/she cannot be neutered I will take this into consideration
    • In order for me to care for your dog please note that his/her vaccinations must be up to date
    • As well as vaccinations I only care for dogs who have valid up to date pet insurance, and he/she must also be micro chipped
    • All prices include full public liability insurance
    • Services on all Bank Holidays will incur double charges

    My Services

    Dog Walking

    • I will collect your dog at an agreed time, take him/her on a fun filled walk, and return him/her safely home, happy and relaxed
    • I will walk your dog for up to 60 minutes off lead, with your permission, to benefit from freedom and socialisation with other dogs
    • I will reinforce any training needs your dog has, and that we will have spoken about
    Weekday Rate
    • Prices listed are for collections and drop offs no more than 3 miles from Harrow on the Hill
    • Up to 60 minute walk £20 per dog
    Weekend Rate
    • 60 minute walk  £20 per dog

    Doggy Day Care

    • I am flexible with drop off and collection times, and my aim is to tailor my service around your needs
    • My home will be your dog’s home and it is a clean, non smoking, comfortable and calm environment
    • We will go on an at least two walks per day in large enclosed fields and woodlands in the Harrow and Pinner area
    • Text and picture messages of your dog at rest and play are part of my service to you
    Weekday Rate
    • £35 (includes collection and drop off within 3 miles of Harrow on the Hill)
    Weekend Rate
    • £40 (includes collection and drop off within 3 miles of Harrow on the Hill)

    Home Boarding

    • For Whippet or Sighthound care please contact me

    • When I first moved to Harrow, working full time with a long commute into London, I found it hard to give my whippet Harvey the exercise he needed. Finding Shazia was life changing for both of us, Harvey learned to run off lead and made lots of new canine friends, and I returned from work to a happy well exercised whippet every day! Now we've moved further afield Harvey still returns to Devoted2Dogs for his holidays whenever I'm travelling. He is always excited to be reunited with his old friends and makes himself at home right away! I know I never have to worry because Shazia looks after all the dogs in her care as if they're her own, and Harvey gets all the cuddles he needs! I only worry he won't want to come home again ;)
